Series 7 Episode 23 - Josh is Stoned
DURATION: 02:27 An unwell looking Josh enters class late and is paired up with Zack to participate in trust building exercises. But the room soon starts to spin for Josh. Lauren approaches and guesses correctly that Josh has been smoking drugs again and calls the teacher over. Josh staggers and is suddenly sick over the teacher and runs from the class. He sprints away down the corridor, finding a quiet spot to pull himself together but new teacher, Nicki Boston, spots him and takes him to task, rightly guessing that he’s stoned. Nicki drags him to the changing rooms where she dunks him under the shower in an attempt to sober him up - as they would do in the army. DURATION: 01:13 Tariq, Kyle and new pupil Mason, head down a corridor discussing how Chalky needs teaching a lesson for the way he spoke to Tariq. Tariq’s unconvinced but as the boys discuss their reputation, it dawns on Tariq that Kyle is a member of the infamous DSC gang. Both Mason and Kyle think Tariq needs to man up by getting involved with the gang. Suddenly Mason sets off the fire alarm and the boys race into Chalky’s classroom where Mason and Kyle start to ransack the room. Tariq initially stands back but after some goading he relents and joins the boys on their rampage. Kyle spray paints the classroom wall with a DSC tag. DURATION: 02:10 Shona and Rhona look nervously at each other as Matt counts them in – they’re singing a rendition of ‘Waterloo’ with the school orchestra. Scout’s on guitar, Phoenix on key boards, Denzil on percussion and Tariq on sound. They’re fantastic! Michael, teachers and pupils clap along, thoroughly enjoying themselves and Matt’s in his element as he leads the orchestra into the second verse. DURATION: 01:23 As year 12 pupil Andi O' Donnell comes out of the shower she’s shocked to discover her clothes missing. Panicked, she makes her way outside of the changing rooms into the busy corridor for help. Meanwhile, Ronan crosses with Vicki, who is about to re-sit her A-level, and wishes her luck. As he heads off he spots pupils laughing at a tearful Andi wrapped only in her towel. He rushes to her side, giving her his coat to cover herself with. At that moment, Tom appears and asks what’s going on – it’s clear that someone’s been playing a joke on Andi. Tom instructs Ronan to find Andi some clothes from lost property. Tariq launches himself at Finn, convinced Finn was only being matey because he was secretly dating his sister. Tariq chases Finn out of the common room, shoving a bewildered Madi in the process. The boys spill out of the school building and onto the school field where the fight continues. Crowds gather as Trudi struggles to pull her brother off. Meanwhile, Janeece runs into Michael’s office, disturbing a meeting between him and Linda to tell them about the fight. Michael races downstairs where he and Sian manage to break up the fight.
